AUDIENCE FEEDBACK - What will I change from my audience feedback?

A few people said that the grey tabs on my website are distracting, so I will remove these and change the layout of my main articles to improve the overall look of my website.

In addition to this, I will need to add some more things onto my contents page, as I think it looks empty and I have also been told this through audience feedback. I will add some more images and text on the left side, while keeping the right side minimalistic as to not distract from the main images.

On my website I will also add some adverts onto the homepage to make it look more realistic, as I think that it looks basic currently. I will also add some aspects of  interactivity onto the page with the video, there will be links to all the makeup products used, and I will include a competition to increase aspects of audience engagement with my site.

PLANNING - My early ideas

These were my very first mock ups of my first front cover. However both the font, and magazine title did not fit the aesthetic I was aiming for, and it did not look consistent with the image. Therefore I decided to change the font and title, and I proceeded to plan photoshoot 3 with Tasha.

I took these photos for my "blue planet turning grey" article, to highlight the effect plastic has on both us and the environment. This is why I dressed her in plastic; to imitate how marine-life gets trapped in it and also to emphasise the fact that plastic is used in the textiles industry.

I took the images with the sunflowers to use as intertextuality for Van Gogh's Sunflowers painting. I took the other images because I wanted to experiment with different props, makeup and lighting. I really like how they turned out, especially when as the sun was setting when the light was really warm. That is how I took the 7th and 9th images.
